E' uno dei pochi che mi ha fatto davvero un certo effetto.
Le pose degli scatti e le inquadrature possono essere condivisibili o meno, ma la gestione delle luci, dei colori e della post produzione a mio avviso rasenta la perfezione.
Ecco cosa dice:
"The difference between an amateur and a professional photographer is that the amateur thinks the camera does the work. And they treat the camera with a certain amount of reverence. It is all about the kind of lens you choose, the kind of film stock you use... exactly the sort of perfection of the camera. Whereas the professional - the real professional - treats the camera with unutterable disdain. They pick up the camera and sling it aside. Because they know it’s the eye and the brain that count, not the mechanism that gets between them and the subject that counts." -David Hamilton
I have neither extensive equipment nor experience, so I guess that makes me a beginner? :)
In my current profession, I serve 3 masters: my boss, the client and the target market. Sometimes, it's difficult not to complain and impossible not to have a bad day. What's mediocre to one may be "award-winning" to the other. Regardless, it's my job to make them all happy.
That is why I'm glad I have my camera. It keeps me sane because I am able to do what I want. The idea, the production and the final say, are all made by me. Even though photography as a profession may still be otherwise, it is a craft where I can still be my own boss.
Long have I neglected my brushes and canvas. But even so, photography gives me the same fulfillment. Perhaps, even more. For not only does it enable me to create something "artistic", it also allows me to capture good memories as well.
And boy, what a privilege to come accross so many talented individuals here in Flickr! Hi! Just call me Dusko. It's a pleasure to meet you. :)

PS: se qualcuno volesse tradurlo alla lettera gliene sarei grato (anche se più o meno l'ho capito e condivido il senso di quello che dice
