Ciao ragassi... dove lavoro c'è una macchina "vecchia" che si puo interfacciare solo con un terminare dotato di Windows XP SP3.
Io ho il CD con licenza Windows XP... Che sappiate voi se carico XP ora che non è più supportato potrò comunque accedere agli aggiornamenti fino al SP3? La MS continua a mantenere on-line gli aggiornamenti?

PS se e' da usare in contesti sensibili io eviterei..Una versione non supportata di Windows non riceverà più aggiornamenti software da Windows Update. Tra questi vi sono aggiornamenti della sicurezza per proteggere il PC da virus dannosi, spyware e altri malware che possono carpire informazioni personali.

No, è scollegato dalla rete e serve solo per far funzionare la macchina... in teoria dovrebbe funzionarmi anche con XP SP2 visto che ce l'ho.One_More_Time ha scritto:m$ dice di no..

Secondo me basta che nel web ti trovi il file della sp3 e lo installi. Senza usare Windows update

Oltre al problema di licenze, magari piuttosto relativo per un s.o. abbandonato resta sempre valido il consiglio di non accettare caramelle dagli sconosciuti.. poi e' facile che ti ritrovi con una macchina impestata.

si ma su qualche server\sito della Microsoft ci sarà ancora il file no!?! io al massimo dovrei ancora avercelo quello scaricato a suo tempo.
Lo avevo poi inserito con Winlite sul mio XP così da avere un cd di ripristino già bello che completo di aggiornamenti....quando a quel tempo mi complicavo la vita..... ora tutto on-line e soprattutto altro s.o.
